Welcome to Emanuel Lutheran School.  I am serving as the Principal and 7th/8th grade homeroom teacher.  I began teaching here in 2013.  My focus in the classroom is in the area of Math and Science.  I truly enjoy helping students see the creative and organized thoughts that God put into His creation.  I hope to share that joy with the students in my classroom.

My wife Terri and I have been married since 1989.  In 2012 we were blessed with our son, Isaac.  I graduated from Concordia, Seward in 1990.  I have taught in Hawaii, Illinois, and in Minnesota since 1999.  Most of my teaching has been in Lutheran schools.  Sharing the Gospel and helping students learn what it means to live their faith is a very important part of my calling as a teacher.

The invitation is always open to you for a visit or if you have any questions, please contact us.  We would love to share with you the mission of Emanuel.

Confirmation

Pastor Mark Triplett

Hey There: I am Pastor T and let me tell you a little bit about Me!
I grew up in a small Indiana farm town going to an exciting Lutheran School that fed into a local Lutheran High School, much like the set-up of Emanuel and other schools to the Mayer Lutheran High Association. After a year of Lutheran High we moved to Dairy Country New York where I went to public high for 3 years. Afterwards I couldn’t get enough of the farm country so I moved to Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. All the while I was highly involved in a youth and adult evangelism and training program called Ongoing Ambassadors For Christ. So, from jr. high until grad school, I was blessed to travel all over the USA and check out many different types of churches and schools.
When I graduated from seminary I was sent by God to the Tourist/Retirement Country, of the NorthWoods, in Wisconsin! Not exactly the farmlands I grew up in… In the Northwoods I quickly became a Pastoral Representative and Leader for Small Town Youth, College, and Young Families in the LCMS by connecting to over 30 congregations a year.
In all my free time the Lord blessed me with a lovely Family: My wife and now 3 kids. I even found time to add a new hobby of tropical fish keeping. I currently have over 200 fish in over 200 gallons of water. I also try to keep my canoe paddle wet during the Summer and Fall by checking out the local rivers and creeks. My signature hat of course has also been seen in a coffee house or two while reading, chatting, and checking out the local coffee brew.

We spend part of each day doing Bible stories, but have plenty of time for language, math, science, music and art centers. Please stop by and join us as we learn and play together!!

Emanuel offers two preschool options for your child. Our 3-4 year old class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays while our 4-5 year old class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Both classes are from 7:45-11:00 a.m.
