Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music. -Psalms 98:4

At Emanuel Lutheran School we see the arts as a language, by which we can express gratitude, devotion, and joy. The talents bestowed upon our students are gifts from God, and through our Fine Arts program, we encourage each student to use these gifts to praise and glorify our Creator. Whether your child is discovering the joy of rhythm for the first time or honing their skills in a specific musical discipline, our Arts programs celebrate the joy of using our talents to praise God.

Choir Events

School children gather several times a year to sing praises to God.  We have a lower grade choir, an upper grade choir, and an all-school choir.  Students learn songs during the school day at choir rehearsals and music class.  We love to raise our voices in song!

Playing Handbells is a unique musical experience for 7th and 8th-grade students. Playing handbells requires precision, coordination, and teamwork. Students learn the art of creating beautiful melodies as part of a larger ensemble, adding a distinctive touch to our Church services.

All School Musical

Every other year, our students embark on a captivating journey of creativity and collaboration through our Christian-based School Musical. This theatrical endeavor not only showcases the acting, singing, and dancing talents of our students but also serves as a testament to the power of storytelling via a Bible based lesson. Through the School Musical, we bring narratives to life, imparting lessons, and sharing the joy of performance with our school and local community.

For students in 5th through 8th grade, we offer an optional Band program that allows them to dive into the world of instrumental music. Whether they choose brass, woodwind, or percussion instruments, we offer instructor provided personalized guidance, helping students develop their musical skills and appreciation.
