Graduation

Graduation

"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will succeed." - Proverbs 16:3

Graduation ceremonies hold significant importance for both preschoolers and 8th graders, marking pivotal moments in their educational journeys and symbolizing the transition to the next phase of learning. For preschoolers, it is often their first experience of completion, while for 8th graders, it signifies the conclusion of their middle school years and the commencement of high school.

Preschool Graduation

The Preschool Graduation Program at Emanuel Lutheran School is an annual celebration marking the culmination of a year of learning and growth for the 3 and 4-year-old preschool classes. The event showcases the accomplishments of the young learners as they present a review of a typical preschool day and delight the audience with charming performances of songs they have learned throughout the year.

A highlight of the ceremony is the recognition of the 4-year-olds who are transitioning to kindergarten. These students are awarded diplomas in a heartwarming acknowledgment of their readiness for the next stage of their educational journey. The program not only serves as a joyous occasion for families and friends to witness the children's development but also emphasizes the nurturing and educational environment provided by Emanuel Lutheran School. It is a memorable and meaningful way to celebrate the achievements of the youngest members of the school community, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment as they take their first steps into formal education.

8th Grade Graduation

The 8th-grade graduation program at Emanuel Lutheran School is a significant and poignant event marking the culmination of the students' educational journey within the school. Held at the end of each academic year, this ceremony serves as a symbolic transition for the graduating class as they prepare to move on to the next phase of their academic and personal lives.

The program takes place during Emanuel's Church service, emphasizing the spiritual foundation and values imparted during the students' time at Emanuel Lutheran School. There is a diploma presentation, where each 8th grader is recognized for their hard work and achievements. This moment not only signifies the completion of their middle school education but also symbolizes their preparedness for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in high school.
